Brett Tippin
I grew up on the shores of Lake Tahoe and attended school in Tahoe City. Upon graduation, I married a local girl–Annie. We will celebrate our 40th anniversary in a couple years. We are both deeply rooted in the local community.
I began working in the trades right out of high school and have experience in all facets of the construction process. I received my contractor’s license in 1995 and have worked solely on custom construction projects since then. I have specialized in “smaller” projects such as additions and remodels. The scope of such projects gives me full control of each project, and allows me to maintain a high degree of quality with direct oversight and participation from start to finish. Years of local experience results in my ability to groom a “stable” of high-quality subcontractors who perform efficiently and deliver the project that my clients envision.
I consider every job an opportunity to showcase my best work, to manifest my exemplary work ethic, and to provide a platform for open, honest, and productive communication all the way through the construction process.
My primary goals are:
• Find the best and most efficient way to achieve a finished product that both client and contractor will be proud of.
• Listen keenly and discern my client’s desires for the feel and finish of the completed project.
• Adhere to budgetary concerns and restraints while allowing close communication to direct all work items.
• Always endeavor to listen, and most importantly, to understand as much as possible before I go to work.
The work I do is an important part of my identity and that identity is crucial to me, especially in this small town in which I grew up and have made a life in.
